Description
Travel to another country and spend a week helping build homes alongside local families and volunteers.
Through Habitat for Humanity's Global Village program, participants work on construction projects that help provide safe, affordable housing in communities around the world.
No construction experience is required. You'll work side by side with local residents, learn about a different culture, and contribute to a project that will continue long after your trip ends.
This is not a sightseeing tour. Service is the purpose of the journey.
How It Builds Growth
Service grows when we contribute our time, energy, and effort to something larger than ourselves.Global Village combines hands-on work with cultural immersion. Participants leave their familiar surroundings and join a team working toward a shared goal. The experience provides a direct connection between effort and impact while offering a deeper understanding of how people live in different parts of the world.By the end of the week, you may not remember every nail you hammered or wall you painted, but you will remember the people you worked beside and the community you helped support.
